| Abstract: | Cílem této diplomové práce je analyzovat vzdělávací systém v Portugalsku a vyhodnotit jeho nastavení ve vztahu k nezaměstnanosti mladých osob v zemi. Teoretická část práce je zaměřena na identifikaci a provázanost hlavních příčin vzniku nezaměstnanosti mladých osob, přičemž je zde poskytnut podrobný náhled na vliv atributů vzdělávacích systémů na tento makroekonomický ukazatel. V rámci praktické části práce jsou teoretické poznatky aplikovány na případ Portugalska. Je zde provedena detailní analýza aspektů portugalského vzdělávacího systému, přičemž jsou za účelem dosažení komplexity práce kontrolovány i další relevantní příčiny vzniku nezaměstnanosti mladých. Na základě této analýzy je pak stanoveno výsledné vyhodnocení stavu portugalského vzdělávacího systému a vliv této skutečnosti na vývoj tamní nezaměstnanosti mladých. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyse the education system of Portugal and to evaluate its settings in terms of youth unemployment in the country. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on identifying the main causes of youth unemployment and assessing their interconnectedness, and detailed insight into the influence of specific attributes of education systems on this macroeconomic indicator is presented. In the second part of the thesis, these theoretical findings are applied to the case of Portugal. A detailed analysis of various aspects of the Portuguese education system is provided, while other relevant causes of youth unemployment are also considered in order to reach complexity. Based on the analysis, final evaluation concerning the situation of the Portuguese education system is presented, and the impact of this reality on the development of youth unemployment in Portugal is determined. |
