| Abstract: | The aim of this bachelor thesis is to examine the business environment of the United Arab Emirates and identify the potential benefits and challenges of doing business in the country, and particularly in Dubai emirate. The thesis aims at providing valuable information on the business environment of the UAE to potential investors and entrepreneurs that would consider doing business in the country. The thesis is composed of three main chapters, with each chapter then further divided into multiple sub-chapters. The first chapter of the thesis is devoted to a brief introduction to the basic facts about the United Arab Emirates. Furthermore, it analyzes the macroeconomic environment of the country with the focus on the main economic indicators, foreign trade, and foreign direct investment into the country. The second chapter examines the business environment of the UAE using the PESTL analysis. The last chapter of the thesis is dedicated to the analysis of Dubai emirate, specifically its characteristics, economy and doing business in Dubai. |

| Abstract: | Cílem práce je prozkoumat podnikatelské prostředí Spojených arabských emirátů a identifikovat potenciální přínosy a výzvy podnikání v této zemi, a zejména v Dubajském emirátu. Práce se zaměřuje na poskytnutí cenných informací o podnikatelském prostředí SAE pro potenciální investory a podnikatele, kteří by zamýšleli podnikat v této zemi. Práce se skládá ze tří kapitol a každá z nich je rozdělena do subkapitol. První část práce je věnována krátkému úvodu do základních údajů o SAE. Dále je analyzováno makroekonomické prostředí země se zaměřením na hlavní ekonomické indikátory, zahraniční obchod a PZI. Druhá část zkoumá podnikatelské prostředí na základě PEST analýzy. Poslední kapitola je věnována analýze Dubajského emirátu, specifickým charakteristikám, ekonomii a podnikání v Dubaji. |
