| Abstract: | Cílem této práce je specifikovat rozsah využití moderních technologií v hotelnictví, zhodnotit vliv na efektivitu a kvantifikovat do jaké míry moderní technologie při správném využití přispívají k růstu revenue a zároveň zda snižují počet hodin potřebných k běžnému chodu hotelu. Dalším cílem bylo zjistit penetraci těchto technologií v České republice. Pomocí dotazníkového šetření a analýzy jednoho konkrétního hotelu jsem hodnotil, zda a jak skutečně technologie ovlivňují efektivitu a revenue. Provedenou analýzou bylo zjištěno, že pozitivní dopad je dosažitelný při správném a plnohodnotném využití vhodných technologií. Růst také závisí na výhozí situaci. Hlavním zjištěním je, že technolgie dávají poskytovatelům ubytování potenciál růstu revenue a zvýšení eketivity, ale vyžadují náročnou implementaci. Většina tuzemských ubytovacích zařízení, které využívají moderní hotelové technologie následně zaznamenaly meziročí růst revenue |

| Abstract: | The aim of this thesis is to specify the usage of modern technologies in hotel industry, evaluate the impact on efficiency and quantify the impact of modern technologies on revenue growth. Another goal is to determine the penetration of these technologies in the Czech Republic. The practical part of this thesis is based on questionnaire survey and analysis of one specific hotel, I assessed whether and how technologies actually affect efficiency and revenue. The performed analysis revealed that the positive impact is achievable with the correct and full usage of appropriate technologies. Growth also depends on previous situation. The main outcome is that technologies give accommodation providers potential to increase revenue and increase efficiency, but require complex implementation and daily work with data. Most domestic accommodation recorded year-on-year revenue growth after implementation of modern hotel technologies. |
