| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá příčinami deindustrializace Velké Británie ve 20. století. Zaměřená je zejména na vládní kroky a vyhodnocení jejich vlivů na úpadek britského průmyslu. Práce je rozdělena do tří kapitol. V první kapitole je představen historický přístup k roli státu v ekonomice a následně je popsána problematika vládních opatření. Druhá část chronologicky uvádí a vyhodnocuje jednotlivá opatření britské vlády, a to přímo cílené na průmysl, tak i nepřímé vládní kroky, které dané odvětví ovlivnily. Ve třetí kapitole je nejprve pozornost zaměřena na společné příčiny deindustrializace jako fenoménu rozvinutých ekonomik a následně jsou rozebrány příčiny, které vedly k hlubšímu úpadku britského průmyslu než v ostatních rozvinutých zemích. |

| Abstract: | The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to cover the causes of deindustrialization in the United Kingdom over the course of the 20th century. The primary aim is to evaluate the government measures taken and their influence on the decline of British industries. The thesis is divided into three main chapters. The introductory chapter presents the historical approach taken by the government with regards to the economy and consequently describes government interventions. The following section chronologically explores each government measure with direct and indirect intentions. The concluding chapter addresses the general causes of deindustrialization; furthermore, those specific to British industrial decline in the 20th century. |
