| Abstract: | Diplomová práce „Akceptace kryptoměn – deklarace nebo realita“ se zabývá tématem míry reálné akceptace kryptoměn jako platební metody. V teoretické části představuje hlavní principy kryptoměn a popisuje na jakých teoretických základech stojí. Dále také ukazuje, jaké monetární zákonitosti v sobě má Bitcoin zakódované a jak se na něj dívají vybrané ekonomické teorie. Hlavního cíle práce je dosaženo v její praktické části. Tou je provedení případové studie zkoumající reálný stav akceptace kryptoměn přímo v terénu u jednotlivých obchodníků. Je provedena analýza míst, která akceptaci bitcoinu či jiné kryptoměny deklarují. Získané výsledky jsou následně konfrontovány s realitou. Na základě shromážděných dat práce vyslovuje dílčí závěry. Hlavní přínos práce spočívá v detailní analýze úrovně akceptace kryptoměn u obchodníků na území Prahy, částečně pak i v online prostoru. To přinese zájemcům o využití této platební metody přehled o dnešní situaci a navede je správným směrem. Pro obchodníky pak budou zajímavé informace o rozdílných technických řešeních akceptace u konkurence. |

| Abstract: | The diploma thesis “Acceptance of cryptocurrencies – declaration or reality” addresses the topic of real acceptance rate of cryptocurrencies used as payment method. In the theoretical part, basic principles and theoretical foundations of cryptocurrencies are introduced. It also shows what monetary laws bitcoin has encoded in it and how selected economic theories look at it. The main goal of the work is achieved in its practical part. That is a case study examining the real state of acceptance of cryptocurrencies directly by visiting each trader in their shop. An analysis of the places that declare the acceptance of bitcoin or other cryptocurrency is performed. The obtained results are then confronted with reality. Based on the collected data, the thesis draws partial conclusions. The main contribution of the work lies in a detailed analysis of the level of acceptance of cryptocurrencies by traders in the territory of Prague, and partly also in the online space. Carrying out this research will give those interested in using this payment method an overview of today's situation and guide them in the right direction. Merchants will find interesting information about different technical solutions their competitors implemented to process payment. |
