| Abstract: | Hlavním cílem této diplomové práce je zhodnocení vývoje úmrtnosti podle nejčastějších příčin smrti v České republice s diferenciací na kraje ČR, v letech 2000–2019. Dále také porovnat rozdíly mezi muži a ženami, ale zároveň také zjistit intenzitu a strukturu úmrtnosti podle příčin úmrtí dle jednotlivých věkových skupin. Mezi hlavní příčiny smrti patří nejenom v České republice, ale i po celém světě, kardiovaskulární onemocnění, novotvary, vnější příčiny úmrtí, nemoci dýchací a trávicí soustavy. Dále se práce zaměřuje na vyhodnocení možných rizik a příčin úmrtí v dětském, mladém, starším a velmi starém věku. Jako hlavní ukazatele byly využity standardizované míry úmrtnosti analyzovaných skupin příčin úmrtí pro každé pohlaví zvlášť. V první, teoretické, části je nastíněna problematika vývoje mezinárodní klasifikace nemocí a charakteristika nejčastějších onemocnění ovlivňující mortalitu české populace. Druhá, praktická, část se nejdříve zabývá analýzou příčin úmrtí dle věku a pohlaví v České republice. A následně byla věnována pozornost i analýze příčin smrti podle regionální diferenciace, a to na krajské úrovni. Obecně lze tvrdit, že nejvyšší nemocnost a úmrtnost se ve studovaném období vyskytovala v severozápadní části republiky nebo v Moravskoslezském kraji. Naopak nejlepší úmrtnostní poměry nejčastějších příčin úmrtí se vyskytovali v hlavním městě Praha. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate the mortality development based on the most frequent causes of death in Czech Republic. The observation is built on data collected during this period 2000-2019 among the differentiated regions. The paper also focuses on the assessment of differences between males and females regarding causes of death. Furthermore, the intensity of the mortality rate will be analyzed in accordance with different age categories. Cardiovascular, respiratory, and digestive diseases, along with neoplasms were proven to be among the main reasons of causes of deaths not only here in Czech Republic, but also in the whole world. The paper also focuses on the evaluation of potential risks and causes of death spanning from the infantile period to the old age. Standardized mortality rates of the analyzed groups of causes of death for each sex separately were used as the main indicators. The first, theoretical, part outlines the development of the international classification of diseases and the characteristics of the most common diseases affecting the mortality of the Czech population. The second, practical, part first deals with the analysis of the causes of death by age and sex in the Czech Republic. Subsequently, attention was paid to the analysis of the causes of death according to regional differentiation, at the regional level. In general, it can be stated that the highest morbidity and mortality in the studied period occurred in the northwestern part of the republic or in the Moravian-Silesian region. On the contrary, the best mortality rates for the most common causes of death occurred in the capital city of Prague. |
