| Abstract: | Cílem disertační práce je analyzovat a porovnat hodnoty vybraných ukazatelů makroekonomického prostředí a bankovního trhu v České republice s hodnotami těchto ukazatelů v zemích, které jsou součástí jednotného evropského mechanismu dohledu nad bankami (SSM). Práce je založena na aplikaci deskriptivních, analytických a komparativních metod, kterým jsou podrobeny jednotlivé indikátory a komentováno vyhodnocení jejich hodnot. Z analýzy vyplývá, že většina sledovaných ukazatelů vykazuje v České republice shodné nebo příznivější hodnoty než je tomu v ostatních zemích, které jsou do komparace vybrány. V tomto ohledu tedy nebyly identifikovány překážky pro případný vstup České republiky do bankovní unie, respektive SSM. Zároveň je však konstatováno, že tato pozitiva jsou vyvážena některými negativy, ke kterým náleží primárně faktory politické a současné nastavení podmínek členství v SSM pro země stojící mimo eurozónu. |

| Abstract: | The objective of this dissertation is to analyse and compare the values of selected indicators of the macroeconomic environment and the banking market in the Czech Republic with the values of these indicators in countries that are part of the unified European bank supervision mechanism (SSM). This thesis is based on the application of descriptive, analytical and comparative methods, which the individual indicators are subjected to, and comments are made regarding an assessment of their values. The analysis indicates that most of the monitored indicators show that the values in the Czech Republic are identical or more favourable than in other countries selected for comparison. No obstacles to the Czech Republic potentially joining the Banking Union or the SSM were identified in this respect. However, at the same time it is true that this positive point is balanced by some negative points, which primarily include political factors and the current terms of membership in the SSM for countries outside the Eurozone. |
