| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá operačním rizikem v pojišťovně a problematikou jeho řízení. Podstatná část práce je rovněž věnována nedávno implementované směrnici Solvency II, včetně jejího dopadu na operační riziko. Úvodní část definuje pojem riziko, dále pojednává o dalších rizicích v činnosti pojišťovny a nakonec podrobně vysvětluje operační riziko, jeho současné trendy a možnosti členění. Následující část se zaměřuje na směrnici Solvency II, a to konkrétně na její vymezení, strukturu, implementaci, porovnání s jejím předchůdcem a dopad na řízení operačního rizika. Závěr práce se zabývá nástroji, metodami a přístupy v managementu operačního rizika, které jsou stručně ukázány na tuzemské pojišťovně. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with operational risk in an insurance company and the issue of its management. A substantial part of the thesis is also dedicated to the recently implemented Solvency II directive, including its impact on operational risk. The introductory part defines the concept of risk, further discusses other risks in the activities of an insurance company and finally explains operational risk in detail, its current trends and classification options. The following part focuses on the Solvency II directive, specifically on its definition, structure, implementation, comparison with its predecessor and the impact on operational risk management. The conclusion deals with tools, methods, and approaches in operational risk management which are briefly exemplified on a domestic insurance company. |
