| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá implementací ověřovacích metod doménových jmen používaných v e-mailové komunikaci. Hlavní cíl této bakalářské práce spočívá v zhodnocení dosavadní implementace autentizačních mechanismů doménových jmen v e-mailové komunikaci. Návrh a aplikace nových im¬ple¬men¬ta¬čních řešení pokrývá nalezené nedostatky nalezené během zhodnocení. Celý proces úspěšné inspekce a implementace je realizován pro vlastní doménu unyp.cz společnosti University of New York in Prague s.r.o. Čtenáře tato práce nejprve seznamuje se základními principy fungování e-mailové komunikace a se systémem doménových jmen (DNS). Následuje teoretické seznámení s dílčími ověřovacími mechanismy SPF, DKIM a DMARC. Posléze tyto poznatky jsou aplikovány při inspekci a návrhu těchto mechanismů pro doménu unyp.cz. Poslední část obsahuje vyhodnocení implementace na základě nasbíraných dat o výsledcích autentizace pomocí agregovaných zpráv a DMARC monitoru. Zároveň tato část čtenáře informuje o nalezených problémech v procesu implementace a navrhuje možná řešení. Práce tímto kompletně pokrývá celý proces praktické realizace aplikování těchto ověřovacích mechanismů. |

| Abstract: | The main focus of this bachelor thesis is on the implementation of authentication methods of domain names used in e-mail communication. The main objective of this thesis is to evaluate the current implementation of domain name authentication mechanisms in e-mail communication and, if shortcomings are found, to propose the application of new implementation solutions. This whole process of successful inspection and implementation is realized for the custom domain unyp.cz owned by the company University of New York in Prague s.r.o. First, the thesis introduces basic principles of e-mail communication and the domain name system (DNS). Next following part is a theoretical introduction to the SPF, DKIM and DMARC mechanisms. This knowledge is then applied during the inspection and custom design of the mechanisms. The last part contains the evaluation of the implementation based on the collected data using aggregated reports and DMARC monitor. This part also informs about problems found in the implementation process and suggests viable solutions. The thesis completely covers the whole process of practical implementation of the verification mechanisms. |
