| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou matematické gramotnosti. V práci jsou představeny jednotlivé typy gramotností, metody výuky a postoje učitelů, studentů a veřejnosti k matematické gramotnosti. Dále se práce zabývá analýzou dat získaných ze šetření PISA 2018, kde se předmětem analýzy stali patnáctiletí studenti. Cílem práce je analyzovat matematickou gramotnost a zjistit faktory, jež ovlivňují skóre studentů. K řešení problému jsou využity věrohodné hodnoty matematické gramotnosti a další faktory, u kterých je zkoumán vliv na matematickou gramotnost. Těmito faktory jsou například typy jednotlivých škol, velikost města a obce, ze které žáci pochází či například vzdělání rodičů. Následně jsou pro analýzu použity indexy, které měří ekonomický, sociální a kulturní status a dále indexy měřící motivaci studenta ke studiu, emoční podporu ze strany rodičů nebo index šikany. Vztahy a možné závislosti mezi matematickou gramotností a danými faktory jsou následně analyzovány a testovány pomocí vhodných statistických metod. Vzhledem k povaze dat, byly pro analýzu využity primárně parametrické testy. Použita byla například korelace a regrese, ANOVA test nebo dvouvýběrový t-test pro nezávislé výběry. Výsledky analýz byly následně dle možností prezentovány pomocí vhodných grafů, jako je například bodový graf, krabičkový graf, či graf průměrů. Všechny statistické výstupy byly zpracovány v softwarovém programu IBM SPSS. V práci se podařilo dosáhnout stanového cíle a signifikantně prokázat některé vztahy a faktory ovlivňující skóre matematické gramotnosti. Vzhledem k aktuálnosti zvoleného tématu a nově vzniklé situace s pandemií COVID-19 je vhodné se faktorům ovlivňující nejen matematickou gramotnost, ale i další složky vzdělávání, věnovat a na základě zjištěných výsledků zvážit možné kroky k jejich zlepšení. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor's thesis deals with the research and analysis of mathematical literacy. The thesis presents individual types of literacy, teaching methods and attitudes of teachers, students and the public to mathematical literacy. The work deals with the analysis of data obtained from the PISA 2018 survey, where fifteen-year-old students became the subject of the analysis. The work aims on analyzing mathematical literacy and identify factors that affect student's scores. For solving the problem are used credible values of mathematical literacy and other factors that influence mathematical literacy. These factors are for example, the types of school, the size of the city from which the students come or the education of the parents. In the work are used measuring indices for analysis, which measures economic, social and cultural status, as well as indices that measures student's motivation to study, emotional support from parrents or the index of bullying. The relationships and possible dependencies between mathematical literacy and given factors are then analyzed and tested using appropriate statistical methods. Because of the type of the data, primarily parametric tests were used for the analysis. For example, correlation and regression, ANOVA test, two-sample t-test for independent samples were used. The results of the analyzes were, if possible, presented using suitable graphs, such as a scatter plot, a box plot or a graph of averages. All statistical outputs were processed in the IBM SPSS software program. In the work we managed to achieve the goal and significantly prove some relationships and factors influencing the score of mathematical literacy. Due topicality of the chosen topic and the new situation with the COVID-19 pandemic, it is on the point, based on the results, to consider possible steps to improve the factors that affects mathematical literacy and other components of education. |
