| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá gentrifikací, jakožto socioekonomickým procesem, který je v současnosti charakteristický pro vybrané lokality hlavního města Prahy. Cílem diplomové práce je identifikace a analýza tohoto procesu s praktickou aplikací na pražskou čtvrť Nusle. První část práce je zaměřena na teoretický koncept gentrifikace a definuje jeho příčiny, dopady a další souvislosti v kontextu České republiky. Druhá, praktická část následně ověřuje samotný proces gentrifikace v Nuslích a pomocí primárních i sekundárních dat rozebírá změnu ekonomické, sociální a urbánní struktury ve vybrané čtvrti. Práce se opírá o kvantitativní ukazatele a současně o kvalitativní analýzu role lokálních aktérů. V závěru práce je nastíněn budoucí rozvoj gentrifikované oblasti s ohledem na probíhající proměny ve čtvrti. |

| Abstract: | The diploma thesis deals with gentrification, as a socio-economic process, which is currently characteristic of selected districts in Prague. The aim of the diploma thesis is to identify and analyse this process with a practical application to the district of Nusle. The first part of the thesis is focused on the theoretical concept of gentrification and defines its causes, impacts, and further specifications in the context of Czech cities. The second part then verifies and describes the process of gentrification in Nusle. With the help of primary and secondary data the change in economic, social, and urban structure are analysed in the given district. The work is based on quantitative indicators, as well as a qualitative analysis of the role of local players. At the end of the work, the future development of the gentrified area is outlined with regard to the ongoing changes in the district. |
