| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na využití nástroje Power BI od společnosti Microsoft k řízení oddělení v rámci firmy DPDHL. Cílem práce je analyzovat a předvést, k čemu se vybraný nástroj používá, a jaké možnosti a výhody poskytuje vybranému oddělení. Obsah práce je rozdělen na dvě části. První, teoretická, část, je věnována analýze daného oddělení, pojmům business intelligence a self-service business intelligence. U těchto pojmů je nejvíce prostoru věnováno tomu, proč by se měly do firmy zavádět tyto metody a co jsou důležité předpoklady pro úspěšné řešení. Dále je pozornost směřována na samotný nástroj Power BI, který se v oddělení používá k vytváření reportů a analýz. V druhé části, tedy praktické, jsou rozebrány reporty, které jsou využívány v oddělení. Je nastíněno, v čem spočívá jejich výhoda a k čemu napomáhají. Nakonec je navrhnut nový report, který vychází z reálných požadavků uživatelů. Přínosy této práce jsou v analýze nástroje Power BI a jeho využití v oddělení v rámci DHL IT Services a návrh nového reportu, který odráží reálné požadavky a měl by po implementaci do firmy pomoci v rámci pochopení informací a vylepšení prezentace dat uživatelům. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis is focused on the use of Power BI tool from Microsoft and how it helps in one department that is part of the company DPDHL. The aim of the work is to analyze and demonstrate how the selected tool is used, and what possibilities and benefits it provides to the selected department. The content of the work is divided into two parts. The first, theoretical, is devoted to the analysis of the department, concepts such as business intelligence and self-service business intelligence. For these concepts, most space is devoted to why they should be introduced into the company and what are the important prerequisites for a successful solution. Furthermore, attention is focused on the Power BI tool itself, which is used in the department to create reports and analyzes. In the second part, i.e. practical, the reports that are used in the department are analyzed. It outlines what their advantage is. Finally, a new report is proposed, which is based on the real requirements of users. The benefits of this work are in the analysis of the Power BI tool and it is use in the department within DHL IT Services, and the design of a new report that reflects real requirements and should after implementation, help to understand information and improve data presentation to users. |
