| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce pojednává o způsobu zobrazení katalogových dat výběrem pomocí mechanismu swipování. To je představeno na návrhu mobilní aplikace pro platformu iOS za použití IMDb API, které zprostředkovává vybraná data z portálu IMDb přes REST API. Cílem této práce je uspořádat doposud publikované informace o mechanismu swipování a porozumět dané problematice jak z teoretické, tak i technické úrovně, kde proces tvorby sestává z návrhu UX/UI a její implementace, pro kterou je vybranou technologií pro vývoj framework React Native. Implementační výstup mechanismu swipování je tak připraven pro další použití na reálném projektu. Naplnění cílů je doprovázeno procesem tvorby mobilní aplikace, tedy od vytyčení cíle, sběru požadavků, po návrh až následnou demonstraci možné implementace, také analýzou vědeckých studií, identifikování principů a zmapování oblastí doposud týkající se motivu swipování. Práce přináší celkový přehled o mechanismu swipování a napomáhá rozhodování při návrhu aplikace. Gesto přesouvání obsahu prstem po obrazovce, které se za pojmem swipe schovává, se stává oblíbené z důvodu překlopení naučených vzorců chování uživatele z reálného života do IT světa. Zaměřením se na psychologickou stránku uživatele lze získat lepší výchozí pozici pro úspěšnost aplikace. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with alternative ways/methods of viewing catalogue data using a swipe mechanism. This mechanism is introduced by a mobile app for the iOS platform, using IMDb API, which transfers the chosen data from the IMDb portal using REST API. The aim of this thesis is to organize previously published information about the swiping mechanism and understand the issue from a theoretical, as well as technical point of view. The creation process is set up via the UX/UI design and its implementation, for which framework React Native is chosen as a development technology. The implementation result is then ready to be used in a real project. Fulfilment of goals is accompanied by the process of creating a mobile application, from setting goals, collecting requirements to design of app, and demonstrative possible implementation, also by analysing scientific studies, identifying principles and mapping areas related to the swiping motif. The work provides an overview of the swiping mechanism and helps decision making in application design. The gesture of moving the content on the screen using a finger, which is what is what to be understood behind the term swipe, is becoming a popular reason for switching one’s learned behavioural patterns from real to the IT world. We can get a better success rate of our application by concentrating on the psychological side of the user. |
