| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřená do oblasti cloud computingu, konkrétně na databáze a jejich administraci v tomto prostředí. Kdy cílem je analyzovat, jak poskytování databáze v cloudovém prostředí a její poskytovatelé, v případě této práce se jedná o Amazon, Microsoft a Oracle, ovlivňují správu databáze a roli administrátora databáze ve srovnání s databázemi on-premise. Práce začíná rešerší literatury, kde je popsána vyhledaná literatura, následuje popsání metod a způsobů, kterými došlo k řešení této práce. V další kapitole jsou vymezeny důležité pojmy, které jsou v této práci obsaženy. Po vymezení pojmů dojde na základě analýz dokumentací a vhodných zdrojů k stanovení činností administrátora a definování způsobu srovnání těchto činností, ve stejné kapitole je zdůvodněn i výběr služeb a způsob jejich porovnání. V následujících dvou kapitolách jsou činnosti a služby popsány a srovnány. Srovnání je provedeno porovnáním dvou příslušných činností a služeb, ty jsou stručně okomentovány pro pozdější diskusi a vyvození závěrů. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis is focused on the field of cloud computing, specifically on databases and their management in this environment. The main goal is to analyze how the provisioning of databases in the cloud environment and its providers, in the case of Amazon, Microsoft, and Oracle, affects database management and the role of database administrator compared to on-premise databases. The work begins with a literature search, which describes the searched literature, followed by a description of methodologies and process in which this thesis was completed. The next chapter defines the important concepts that are included in this thesis. Based on the analysis of the documentation and other sources, the activities of the administrator will be determined and the method of comparison of these activities will be defined, in the same chapter the choice of services and the method of their comparison are determined too. In the following two chapters, activities and services are described and compared. The comparison is demonstrated by comparing the two relevant activities and services, which are briefly commented on for later discussion and conclusions. |
