| Abstract: | Tématem této práce je analýza dopravního systému Los Angeles. První část práce tvoří teoretický rámec, kde jsou vysvětleny základní tematické pojmy. Dále je popsáno město Los Angeles a přilehlé oblasti z hlediska geografie, demografie a hospodářství. Jsou rozvedeny druhy dopravy a jejich problematika vzhledem k infrastruktuře metropole. Praktická část pak přináší analýzu současné situace a řešení dopravních problémů prostřednictvím projektů. Tato část seznamuje se současnými projekty a na základě jejich analýzy uvádí návrh možných řešení do budoucna. |

| Abstract: | The topic of this work is the analysis of the Los Angeles transportation system. The first part of the work forms a theoretical framework, where the basic thematic concepts are explained. It also describes the city of Los Angeles and adjacent areas in terms of geography, demography and economy. The modes of transport and their problems with respect to the infrastructure of the metropolis are explained. The practical part then provides an analysis of the current situation and solutions to traffic problems through projects. This part acquaints with current projects and, based on their analysis, presents a proposal for possible solutions for the future. |
