| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou úspěšnosti České národní banky v režimu cílování inflace v letech 2000-2019 a v případě, kdy je zjištěn rozpor mezi skutečně naměřenou inflací a stanoveným cílem pro dané období, jsou analyzovány hlavní příčiny tohoto jevu. V teoretické části je nejprve objasněn obecný rámec pojmu inflace, její měření, příčiny a následné důsledky. V praktické části práce je za pomoci analýzy vývoje inflace v jednotlivých letech a následné komparace s inflačními cíli vyhodnocena efektivnost České národní banky při využívání tohoto režimu. Dle výsledků analýzy je patrné, že se centrální bance nepodařilo udržet inflaci na jejím cíli, respektive ani v rozmezí tolerančního pásma, ve více než polovině sledovaných let. Za nejčastější příčiny odchýlení jsou v práci označeny například vývoj cen potravin, regulovaných cen či světových cen ropy, ovlivňující vývoj domácích cen pohonných hmot. |

| Abstract: | Bachelor thesis analyses the success of the Czech National Bank inflation targeting system between the years 2000 to 2019. In case of inconsistency between the realistic inflation level and the set value for the given period, an analysis was made to define the main reason for this phenomenon. The theoretical part describes the general scope of inflation, its measurement, and its cause and consequences. The practical part evaluates the efficiency of the Czech National Bank using analysis of the inflation progress during the years and subsequent comparison to the set values. The results of this analysis show that Czech National Bank was not able to keep the inflation at target level, not even in the agreed tolerance zone in more than a half of the examined years. As the most common cause of this differentiation was indicated the growth of the food prices, regulated price, and worldwide price of the oil, affecting the price of the Czech oil market. |
