| Abstract: | Diplomová práce mapuje vývoj operních domů a souborů v Praze od jejich počátku dodnes. Hlavní část práce se zaměřuje na sloučení Státní opery Praha s Národním divadlem v roce 2012, ve které analyzuje stav obou institucí před sloučením, proběhlou transformaci a následný vývoj jedné instituce. Práce shrnuje hlavní aspekty sloučení a problémy tehdejších operních domů za pomoci rešerše dobového tisku, dostupných dokumentů a provedených rozhovorů s aktéry tehdejšího sloučením. Za pomoci provedené analýzy instituce Národního divadla od roku 2012 práce vyhodnocuje, zda sloučení splnilo své cíle a stanovuje doporučení. |

| Abstract: | The thesis charts the development of opera houses and ensembles in Prague from their beginning to the present day. The main part of the work focuses on the merger of the Prague State Opera with the National Theatre in 2012, which analyses the state of both institutions before the merger, the transformation that took place and the subsequent development of one institution. The work summarizes the main aspects of the merger and the problems of the opera houses at the time with the help of a reshuffle of the period print, available documents and interviews with the actors of the merger at the time. The analyses of the National Theatre from 2012 evaluates whether the merger has met its objectives and makes recommendations. |
