Insolvencies in the Czech Republic in Terms of Unemployment, Level of Education and Number of Men and Women by Court District of Regional Courts in the Years 2015 - 2020

| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou insolvenčního prostředí v České republice. Cílem práce je prokázat přímé dopady nezaměstnanosti, vzdělání a pohlaví obyvatel na četnost insolvencí, posoudit spojitost insolvence s hospodářským vývojem České republiky ve sledovaných letech a vymezit nejméně a nejvíce postižené regiony dle soudních obvodů. Teoretická část bakalářské práce pojednává o procesu insolvenčního řízení u nás. Dále rozvíjí ostatní sledované faktory a zdůvodňuje jejich možné dopady na insolvence. V praktické části je představena historie insolvenčního práva, charakteristika dlužníků v České republice dle pohlaví a porodnost v letech 1987 – 2000, která má přímý dopad na snižující se počty studentů vysokých škol. Česká republika je rozdělena na osm regionů dle správních obvodů krajských soudů a v každém jsou analyzována data insolvencí, nezaměstnanosti, vzdělání a počtu mužů a žen zvlášť. Na závěr praktické části je představen vývoj ekonomiky České republiky v podobě meziročního HDP a míry nezaměstnanosti. Následně je porovnán vývoj HDP společně s celkovým počtem insolvenčních řízení na území České republiky za roky 2015 – 2020. Závěr práce potvrzuje, že nezaměstnanost a vyšší poměr mužů ve společnosti ovlivňují insolvence negativně, naopak více vysokoškolsky vzdělaných obyvatel pozitivně a také, že insolvenční procesy mají vliv na vývoj HDP. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of insolvency environment in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to prove the direct effects of unemployment, education and gender of the population on the frequency of insolvencies, to assess the connection between insolvency and the economic development of the Czech Republic in the monitored years and to define the least and most affected regions according to judicial districts. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis deals with the process of insolvency proceedings in our country. It further develops other monitored factors and justifies their possible effects on insolvency. The practical part presents the history of insolvency law, the characteristics of debtors in the Czech Republic by sex and birth rate in the years 1987 - 2000, which has a direct impact on the declining number of university students. The Czech Republic is divided into eight regions according to the administrative districts of the regional courts, and in each of them the data on insolvency, unemployment, education and the number of men and women are analyzed separately. In the end of the practical part, the development of the economy of the Czech Republic in the form of year-on-year GDP and the unemployment rate is presented. Subsequently, the development of GDP is compared together with the total number of insolvency proceedings in the Czech Republic over the years 2015 - 2020. The conclusion of the thesis confirms that unemployment and a higher proportion of men in society affect insolvency negatively, on the contrary, more university-educated population positively and also that insolvency processes have an impact on GDP development. |
