| Abstract: | Cílem předkládané bakalářské práce je komparovat hospodaření třech největších zdravotních pojišťoven v ČR z hlediska jejich nákladů na zdravotní péči a nákladů na vlastní činnost. Analyzované období zahrnuje pět let, konkrétně roky 2015 až 2019. Dvě teoretické kapitoly se zabývají možnými přístupy k financování zdravotnictví a následně financováním zdravotnictví v České republice. Třetí kapitola obsahující praktickou část práce se věnuje analýzám konkrétních oblastí, které charakterizují hospodaření zdravotní pojišťovny a porovnání výsledků těchto analýz. Jedná se o věkovou strukturu pojištěnců, základní fond zdravotního pojištění a provozní náklady zdravotních pojišťoven. Poslední část přibližuje finanční pozici vybraných zdravotních pojišťoven na konci sledovaného období. Hlavní zdroje teoretické části představuje odborná literatura a aktuální právní úprava. Třetí kapitola vychází především z výročních zpráv vybraných zdravotních pojišťoven a příbuzných sněmovních dokumentů. |

| Abstract: | The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to compare an economy of the three largest health insurance companies in Czechia in terms of healthcare and operational costs. The time period used for the comparison is 2015 to 2019. The first two theoretical chapters deal with the possible approaches of financing healthcare and subsequently the healthcare financing in the Czech Republic is described. The third chapter, containing the practical part of this thesis, analyses factors, which characterize the economy of healthcare insurance companies and afterwards compares the results. Those factors include age structure of the insured, master health insurance fund and operational costs. The last part describes financial position of selected health insurance companies at the end of the chosen time period. The main sources for the theoretical part consist of a professional literature and a current legislation. The third part mainly uses annual reports of the selected insurance companies and parliamentary documents. |
