| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se věnuje problematice stárnutí populace a vlivu demografických změn na financování zdravotní péče. V první části se práce zaměřuje na zhodnocení současného stavu českého zdravotnictví, popisuje zdroje a systém financování a zaměřuje se na vývoj výdajů. Práce obsahuje rešerši odborné diskuse věnující se jednotlivým mechanismům, které ovlivňují výdaje na zdravotnictví a porovnává jednotlivé ukazatele v rámci vybraných států Evropské unie a OECD. Cílem práce je na základě veřejně dostupných dat zanalyzovat vztah mezi výdaji na zdravotnictví a vybranými demografickými a sociálně ekonomickými ukazateli v letech 1993 až 2019. Výstupem práce je konstrukce ekonometrického modelu, který projektuje veřejné výdaje na zdravotní péči v České republice do roku 2040. Projekce bere v úvahu očekávané demografické změny a další faktory ovlivňující růst výdajů, jako je například růst HDP na obyvatele nebo index spotřebitelských cen ve zdravotnictví. |

| Abstract: | The thesis is on the issue of population ageing and the impact of demographic change on healthcare funding. In the first part, the work focuses on assessing the current state of the Czech health system, describing resources and the financing system, and focusing on the evolution of expenditure. The work includes a survey of expert discussions on individual mechanisms that influence health expenses and compares individual indicators within selected European Union and OECD countries. The aim of the work is to analyze the relationship between health expenses and selected demographic and socio-economic indicators between 1993 and 2019, based on publicly available data. The output of the work is the construction of an econometric model that projects public expenses on health care in the Czech Republic until 2040. The projection takes into account expected demographic changes and other factors influencing expenditure growth, such as GDP growth per capita or the healthcare consumer price index. |
