| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá tématem digitalizace, která je v současné době považována za jeden z nejvýznamnějších faktorů regionální konkurenceschopnosti a regionálního růstu. Cílem této práce bylo zhodnotit postavení krajů České republiky v procesu digitalizace jejich území v rámci let 2010, 2014 a 2019 s bližším zaměřením na rok 2019. Došlo proto k vytvoření vlastního souhrnného indexu IDÚK (Index digitalizace území krajů), který vznikl jako snaha o regionalizaci mezinárodně uznávaného DESI. V práci byly ověřeny dvě hypotézy. V případě obou hypotéz nedošlo k jejich úplnému potvrzení. Nelze tedy potvrdit souvislost mezi úrovní digitalizace území krajů a jejich ekonomickou výkonností ani mírou urbanizace. |

| Abstract: | The diploma thesis deals with the topic of digitization as an important factor of regional competitiveness and regional growth. The position of individual regions of the Czech Republic in the development of digitization in 2010, 2014 and 2019 was evaluated. Then the thesis focused on the analysis of digitization of regions (NUTS 3) in 2019. In order to be able to evaluate the digitization of regions, the author's own index was created. IDÚK (Index of Digitization of Regional Territories) was inspired by the internationally recognized DESI index. IDÚK is the result of an attempt to regionalize the DESI index. Two hypotheses were verified in this work. None of them were fully confirmed. It was not possible to confirm the causality between the level of digitization of regional areas and their economic performance (measured in GDP) or the urbanization rate. |
