| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na audit účetní závěrky a forenzní vyšetřování jakožto na metody mající vliv na prevenci a odhalování podvodných jednání. Teoretická část práce se věnuje podvodům a jejich klasifikaci, dále se zabývá charakteristikou auditu a forenzního šetření a popisuje cíle, funkce, legislativní úpravu, profesní regulaci a jednotlivé fáze každé z těchto metod. Praktický náhled na zkoumaná témata je poskytnut prostřednictvím kvalitativního výzkumu provedeného mezi odborníky příslušných profesí. Na základě získaných poznatků je v závěrečné kapitole práce provedeno srovnání obou metod. |

| Abstract: | This diploma thesis deals with financial statement audit and forensic investigation as methods affecting the prevention and detection of fraud. The theoretical part defines fraud and its types, focuses on the characteristics of audit and forensic investigation and describes the objectives, functions, legislation, professional regulation and the various stages of each of these methods. The qualitative research performed among the experts from relevant fields allows to provide a practical insight into the examined topics. The final chapter of the thesis provides a comparison of both methods based on the acquired knowledge. |
