| Abstract: | This diploma thesis deals with investing in commodities through commodity exchanges. Its focus is on analysis and description of the current trends in the world commodity trading. Taking on a case of Iran and its saffron commodity trading, the thesis discusses the possiblities of commodity trading modernization in the 21. century by searching for new and innovative ways of improvement of the commodity trading process through the use of modern technologies and contemporary risk reduction. |

Práce specificky pojednává o Íránu a jeho obchodování s konkrétní komoditou – šafránem. Na příkladu obchodu se šafránem hodnotí možnosti modernizace obchodování s komoditami v 21. století hledáním nových a inovativních způsobů zlepšování těchto procesů pomocí moderních technologií a současného snižování rizik |
