| Abstract: | Předmětem zkoumání této bakalářské práce je šest států Perského zálivu, konkrétně se jedná o Bahrajn, Kuvajt, Katar, Omán, Saúdskou Arábii a Spojené arabské emiráty. Z věcného hlediska se práce zabývá současnými výzvami, kterým čelí pracovní trhy uvedených států. Práce je rozdělena do dvou kapitol, z nichž se první věnuje charakteristikám ekonomických změn, jimiž zkoumané státy prošly v posledních sedmi desetiletích. Druhá kapitola zkoumá, jak konkrétně se tyto ekonomické změny projevují na pracovních trzích států. Hlavním cílem práce je zjistit, jakým výzvám čelí pracovní trhy zkoumaných zemí Zálivu v důsledku přílišné závislosti zemí na ropě a nedostatečnému tempu diverzifikace jejich ekonomik. Poslední subkapitola na základě poznatků celé práce navrhuje doporučení, které by státy mohly využít v kontextu zefektivnění diverzifikace a přípravy na přechod do post ropné éry. |

| Abstract: | The subject of this bachelor's thesis is six Gulf states, namely Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. From a factual point of view, the thesis deals with the current challenges the labor markets of these countries face. The thesis is divided into two chapters. The first one deals with the characteristics of economic changes that the examined states have undergone in the last seven decades. The second chapter examines how specifically these economic changes affect the labor markets of the states. The main goal of the thesis is to find out what challenges the labor markets of the Gulf countries face due to the excessive dependence of countries on oil and insufficient pace of diversification of their economies. Based on the findings of the whole work, the last subchapter proposes recommendations that the states could use in the context of streamlining diversification and preparation for the transition to the post-oil era. |
