| Abstract: | A modern woman and her position in the labor market and especially in executive positions are now among one of the most debated topics. There is now doubt that women are underrepresented in the Digital Economy, and experience of those who made it to the top is highly valuable and deserves close attention. This thesis focuses on leadership styles of 5 American women leaders and pursues the following purpose: to identify the key features of female manager styles in technical field, determine the factors contributing to successful career building of the elected 5 American women CEOs and provide recommendations for future female leaders encouraged to build their career in tech. The results of the current research illustrate key leadership features of 5 American women leaders, demonstrate main success factors of their career development, and provide suggestions for future female leaders encouraged to build their career in new technologies. |

| Abstract: | Moderní žena a její postavení na trhu práce a zejména ve výkonných pozicích patří nyní mezi jedno z nejdiskutovanějších témat. Nyní existuje pochybnost, že ženy jsou nedostatečně zastoupeny v digitální ekonomice a zkušenosti těch, které se dostaly na vrchol, jsou velmi cenné a si zaslouží zvláštní pozornost. Tato práce se zaměřuje na styly vedení pěti amerických žen ve vedoucích pozicích a klade si tyto cíle: identifikovat klíčové rysy vůdčích stylů manažerek v oblasti moderních technologií, určení faktorů přispívajících k budování úspěšné kariéry zvolených pěti amerických generálních ředitelek a poskytnutí doporučení ženám s aspirací na vůdcovské pozice v technickém odvětví. Výsledky současného výzkumu ilustrují klíčové vůdčí rysy pěti amerických vůdkyň, demonstrují hlavní faktory úspěchu jejich kariérního rozvoje a poskytují inspirace pro ženy budující kariéru v oblasti nových technologií. |
