The work aims to evaluate whether the delivery of Country Life products is optimal in terms of transport costs. The first chapter deals with the traffic problem from a theoretical point of view. In the second chapter, it is further analysed through theories about certain modifications of the transport problem, namely the container transport problem and the multi-product transport problem. The following chapter is devoted to a description of the company, through whose data are the chosen methods demonstrated (Country Life) and a detailed report on the data calculated by these methods. In the last two chapters, the reader will find the formulation of two mathematical models, their transcription into the software MPL for Windows and their solution with this software, as well as evaluation of the results. Finally, these results are compared with the current solution of Country Life. |
