| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zaobírá analýzou dopadů dohody NAFTA na vybrané makroekonomické ukazatele, přímé zahraniční investice a na strukturu obchodu mezi USA, Kanadou a Mexikem. Podrobněji se pak práce zaměřuje na dopady dohody NAFTA na automobilový průmysl a zemědělství. Hlavním cílem této práce je analýza důvodů vypovězení dohody NAFTA ze strany USA, a zda má nová dohoda USMCA potenciál na identifikované problémy reagovat. Závěr práce je věnován podrobné analýze možných dopadů nové dohody USMCA na zmiňovaný automobilový průmysl z důvodu změny pravidel o původu zboží a zemědělství díky většímu otevření kanadského trhu s mléčnými výrobky pro americké farmáře. |

| Abstract: | This master thesis analyzes the impacts of NAFTA agreement on selected macroeconomic indicators, foreign direct investments and trade structure among the United States, Canada and Mexico. The main aim of this thesis is to analyze the reasons of NAFTA withdrawal by the United States and whether the new USMCA agreement has the potential to react on the identified problems. Lastly, the thesis contains a detailed analysis of possible impacts of the USMCA agreement on the automotive industry due to the stricter rules of origin and on agriculture due to changes in Canadian tariff rate quotas on dairy products for American farmers. |
