| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou mezinárodní přepravy zboží po vodě. Cílem bylo popsat mezinárodní přepravu zboží po vodě v rámci řek Rýn a Rhôna a najít nové příležitosti a řešení pro zvýšení objemu přepravovaného zboží a také atraktivnosti tohoto oboru pro speditéry a rejdaře, kteří v této oblasti podnikají. Na otázku, zda je možné zkvalitnit a zefektivnit mezinárodní přepravu zboží po vodě bez nutnosti většího zásahu do infrastruktury a životního prostředí bylo odpovězeno za použití metody kvalitativního šetření, komparační analýzy a SWOT analýzy. V závěru jsou formulovány konkrétní doporučení a kroky, které by bylo možné podniknout pro zlepšení situace v oblasti lodní dopravy a zvýšení konkurenceschopnosti tohoto oboru. |

| Abstract: | This master thesis deals with the issue of international transport of goods by water. The aim was to describe the international transport of goods by water within the Rhine and Rhône rivers and to find new opportunities and solutions to increase the volume of transported goods as well as the attractiveness of this field for freight forwarders and shipowners who do business in this area. The question of whether it is possible to improve and streamline the international transport of goods by water without the need for major interventions in infrastructure and the environment was answered using the method of qualitative research, comparative analysis and SWOT analysis. In the end, specific recommendations and steps are formulated which could be taken to improve the situation in the field of river transport and increase the competitiveness of this field. |
