| Abstract: | Systém státního kapitalismu znamená, že stát je hlavním ekonomickým hráčem usilujícím o kontrolu nad strategicky důležitými odvětvími. Сílem státních zásahů je posílení politické moci vladnoucí elity. V současné době události krize tlačí mnoho zemí k tomu, aby dodržovaly ochranářská opatření, a vládní intervence lze pozorovat stále častěji. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá státním kapitalismem ve Spojených arabských emirátech (SAE) a je rozdělena do dvou kapitol. První kapitola je věnována teoretickým základům státního kapitalismu a popisu ekonomiky SAE. V rámci ekonomiky Emirátů jsou rozebrány její specifické rysy. Část této kapitoly také popisuje pojem, koncept, předpoklady vzniku a historii státního kapitalismu ve druhé polovině 20. století a analyzuje nástroje, s nimiž stát v ekonomice operuje. Druhá kapitola se zaměřuje především na analýzu všech nástrojů státního kapitalismu a na jejich interakci s vládnoucí dynastií v Emirátech a hodnotí jejich účinnost. |

| Abstract: | The system of state capitalism defines the state as the main economic player seeking to gain control over a strategically important sector. The aim of state intervention is to strengthen the political power of the ruling elite. At present, the events of the crisis are pushing many countries to comply with protectionist measures, and government intervention can be seen more and more frequently. This bachelor thesis deals with state capitalism in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and is divided into two chapters. The first chapter is devoted to the theoretical foundations of state capitalism and the description of the UAE economy. Within the economy of the Emirates, its specific features are analyzed. Part of this chapter also describes the concept, prerequisites for the emergence, and history of state capitalism in the second half of the 20th century and analyzes the tools with which the state operates in the economy. The second chapter focuses mainly on the analysis of all tools of state capitalism and their interactions with the ruling dynasty in the Emirates and evaluates their effectiveness. |
