| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na vliv postojů výkonné moci na mezinárodní ekonomickou migraci v zemích Latinské Ameriky. Argentina a Chile patří v regionu mezi ekonomicky dominující země, atraktivní pro imigranty. Postoje jednotlivých vlád k migraci se ovšem oproti dalším faktorům v těchto zemích často mění. Pomocí analýzy práce naplňuje cíl, kterým je komparovat a zhodnotit přístupy vlád Chile a Argentiny k imigraci od 90. let 20. století prostřednictvím vydaných zákonů, prohlášení a dalších materiálů a posléze vyhodnotit, zda tyto přístupy měly vliv na přísun ekonomických migrantů do země či zda to počet migrantů přicházejících z ekonomických důvodů nijak neovlivnilo a převážil význam ostatních faktorů ovlivňujících mezinárodní ekonomickou migraci. |

| Abstract: | This thesis focuses on the the influence of the position of the executive power on international economic migration in Latin American countries. Argentina and Chile are among the economically dominant countries in the region, attractive to immigrants. However, the positions of individual governments on migration often change in comparison with other factors in these countries. Through an analysis the paper fulfills the goal of comparing and evaluating the approaches of the governments of Chile and Argentina to immigration since the 1990s through issued laws, declarations and other materials and later evaluating whether these approaches have affected the inflow of economic migrants into the country or the importance of other factors influencing international economic migration outweighed them. |
