| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá ekonometrickým modelováním a forecastingem ukazatele průměrné ceny za prodaný pokoj (ADR) ve vybraném hotelu. Stěžejní úlohu v celé práci představuje model vícenásobné regrese a sezónní model ARMA. V první části práce je pozornost nejprve zaměřena na teoretická východiska související s revenue managementem a ekonometrickým modelováním. Následná analytická část se soustředí v prvé řadě na sestavení a verifikaci modelu vícenásobné regrese a sezónního modelu ARMA. Následně jsou tyto modely použity pro forecast hodnot po nadcházející měsíce, které jsou komparovány s hotelem dosaženou skutečností za dané období. Poslední část práce se zabývá vyhodnocením získaných výsledků a navržením možností na zlepšení. |

| Abstract: | The thesis deals with econometric modeling and forecasting of the average room rate (ADR) in a selected hotel. The multiple regression model and the seasonal ARMA model play a central role in the whole master thesis. In the first part, the attention is first focused on the theoretical background related to revenue management and econometric modeling. The subsequent analytical part focuses primarily on the construction and verification of the multiple linear regression model and the ARMA seasonal model. Subsequently, these models are used to forecast values over the upcoming months, which are compared with the hotel's actual performance over the researched period. The last part of the paper deals with the evaluation of the obtained results and suggests possibilities for improvement. |
