| Abstract: | The subject of the thesis "Monetization Practices in Video Games and the Ethics of it" is definition of the main concepts and key events in the gaming industry that had an impact on the development of monetization of video games as a commercial product, identification of five most wide-spread monetization practices, review of three ethics systems that have prevíously adressed the subject of monetization and evaluation of individual methods of monetization in accordance with these ethics systems. The master thesis also provides an answer to the thesis question “Which video game monetization practices can be considered ethical?” |

| Abstract: | Předmětem diplomové práce „Způsoby monetizace v počítačových hrách a jejich etika“ je vymezení hlavních pojmů a klíčových událostí v herní industrií, které měly vliv na vývoj monetizace počítačových her jako komerčního produktu, identifikace pěti nejvíce rozšířených způsobů monetizace, vymezení etických systému skrz které problematika monetizace byla zkoumána v minulosti a následné zhodnocení jednotlivých způsobů monetizace her z pohledu těchto systémů. Diplomová práce nabízí odpověď na výzkumnou otázku "Které způsoby monetizace v počítačových hrách lze považovat za etické?" |
