| Abstract: | La presente tesis de tiene por objetivo analizar los efectos socioeconómicos del TLCAN sobre la sociedad mexicana. Primero, en la tesis se van a evaluar los efectos socioeconómicos, tanto positivos como negativos, del TLCAN y las políticas neoliberales sobre la sociedad mexicana. Segundo, desde la posición de la teoría del sistema-mundo se pondrá énfasis en el análisis del impacto de las políticas neoliberales sobre México y la relación entre México y los Estados Unidos adentro del TLCAN. Tercero, en el marco del estudio de caso, la tesis se enfocará en el auge del movimiento de mujeres zapatistas, las cuales en sus campañas mezclan la retórica antiglobalizadora anticapitalista y antipatriarcal. En este sentido representan una alternativa al movimiento feminista liberal global. |

| Abstract: | Cílem této práce je analyzovat socioekonomické dopady NAFTA na mexickou společnost. Nejprve práce vyhodnotí socioekonomické dopady NAFTA a neoliberální politiky na mexickou společnost, pozitivní i negativní. Zadruhé, z pozice teorie světového systému bude kladen důraz na analýzu dopadu neoliberálních politik na Mexiko a vztahů mezi Mexikem a Spojenými státy v rámci NAFTA. Zatřetí, v rámci případové studie se práce zaměří na vzestup zapatistického ženského hnutí, které ve svých kampaních kombinuje antiglobalizační, antikapitalistickou a antipatriarchální rétoriku. V tomto smyslu představují alternativu ke globálnímu liberálnímu feministickému hnutí. |

| Abstract: | The objective of this thesis is to analyze the socioeconomic effects of NAFTA on Mexican society. First, the thesis will evaluate the socioeconomic effects, both positive and negative, of NAFTA and neoliberal policies on Mexican society. Second, from the position of world-system theory, emphasis will be placed on the analysis of the impact of neoliberal policies on Mexico and the relationship between Mexico and the United States within NAFTA. Third, within the framework of the case study, the thesis will focus on the rise of the Zapatista women's movement, which in their campaigns mix anti-globalizing, anti-capitalist, and anti-patriarchal rhetoric. In this sense, they represent an alternative to the global liberal feminist movement. |
