| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá pojmem genius loci, a to převážně v kontextu s cestovním ruchem. Cílem práce je objasnění pojmu genius loci na základě dostupných zdrojů, zjištění jeho důležitosti v cestovním ruchu a jak se genius loci promítá ve dvou typově odlišných destinacích. Pro tyto účely byly vybrány dvě geografické oblasti. Jedná se o pláž Porto Katsiki nacházející se na ostrově Lefkada a český zámek Lednice a jeho okolí. Subjektem zkoumání jsou návštěvníci a jejich pocity nebo emoce. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou, analytickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část obsahuje cestovní ruch, geografii cestovního ruchu, nežádoucí vlivy cestovního ruchu, humanistickou geografii a teorie genia loci. V analytické části jsou analyzovány vybrané geografické oblasti, ve kterých je genius loci zkoumán. V praktické části jsou zaznamenány výsledky výzkumu pro obě zkoumané oblasti. Praktická část rovněž obsahuje odpovědi na výzkumné otázky. Celkový souhrn a rozklíčování cílů práce je v samotném závěru. |

| Abstract: | The diploma thesis deals with the concept of genius loci especially in the context of tourism. The aim of this work is to clarify the concept of genius loci on the basis of available resources, determine its importance in tourism and how the genius loci projected into two different types of destinations. For this purpose, two geographical areas were selected. These are the beach of Porto Katsiki located on the island of Lefkada and the Czech castle Lednice and its surroundings. The subject of research are visitors and their feelings or emotions. The work is divided into theoretical, analytical and practical part. The theoretical part contains tourism, geography of tourism, negative impacts of tourism, humanistic geography and the theory of genius loci. The analytical part analyzes selected geographical areas in which the genius loci is examined. The practical part records the results of research for both areas of research. The conclusion contains a general summary and decipherment of the objectives of the work. |
