| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá uplatňovanými styly vedení ředitelů veřejných a soukromých gymnázií (konkrétně složkami transakčního a transformačního vedení) a zjištěním významnosti jejich vlivu na spokojenost pedagogických pracovníků těchto škol s pracovním prostředím. Cílem práce je identifikovat styly vedení, které jsou v současnosti aplikovány řediteli na veřejných a soukromých gymnáziích a provést jejich komparaci z hlediska typu školy. Druhým cílem je zhodnocení pracovní spokoje-nosti pedagogických pracovníků oslovených gymnázií a zjištění vlivu stylů vedení na sledovanou spokojenost. V teoretické části práce jsou vysvětleny pojmy leadership a management, je zde představena klasifikace stylů vedení a vybrané teorie leadershipu. Transakčnímu a transformačnímu leadershipu, který je blíže zkoumán v praktické čás-ti, je věnována samostatná kapitola. Rovněž je tato část práce věnována motivaci a pra-covní spokojenosti zaměstnanců s vysvětlením vybraných motivačních teorií. Pro sa-motný výzkum byly využity dotazníky CLQ a JSS. |

| Abstract: | The diploma thesis deals with the applied management styles of principals of public and private grammar schools (specifically the components of transactional and transformation management) and finding out the significance of their influence on the satisfaction of pedagogical staff of these schools with the work environment. The aim of this work is to identify leadership styles that are currently applied by principals in public and private grammar schools and compare them in terms of type of school. The second goal is to evaluate the job satisfaction of pedagogical staff addressed to grammar schools and to determine the influence of leadership styles on the observed satisfaction. The theoretical part of the thesis explains the concepts of leadership and management, there is a classification of leadership styles and selected theories of leadership. A separate chapter is devoted to transactional and transformational leadership, which is examined in more detail in the practical part. This part of the work is also devoted to the motivation and job satisfaction of employees with an explanation of selected motivational theories. CLQ and JSS questionnaires were used for the research itself. |
