| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou spojenou s podáváním umělé parente-rální výživy v nemocničním a domácím prostředí. Vychází se zde z předpokladu, že léčba v domácím prostředí přináší určité ekonomické i jiné benefity, přičemž jedním z nich je právě lepší kvalita života pacientů. Hodnotí ekonomické aspekty obou typů léčby, zejména z pohledu nákladovosti, které jsou vzájemně porovnávány. Kvalita ži-vota pacientů užívajících domácí parenterální výživu je zjišťována pomocí dotazníkového šetření mezi 28 pacienty. Výsledky dotazníku kvality života jsou ná-sledně porovnávány dle populační normy, která reprezentuje běžnou populaci, a dle kvality života hospitalizovaných pacientů. V neposlední řadě je zde porovnávána kvalita života respondentů z pohledu formy podávání parenterální výživy, kdy je soubor rozdělen na pacienty využívající mobilní pumpu a ostatní respondenty. Vý-sledkem práce je určení výhod ekonomických a také těch spojených s kvalitou života při přesunu péče do domácího prostředí. Umožňuje tak zejména nezdravotnickému personálu a managementu nemocnic lepší porozumění zkoumané problematice. |

| Abstract: | This thesis focuses on issues arised from treatment, in the form of supplementary parental nutrition in medical and home settings. It is based on the assumption that treatment in a home setting brings economical and other benefits. For instance, patients’ higher quality of life. It assesses the economical aspects in both types of treatment settings; specifically, the costs, which are thoroughly explored and evaluated from both perspectives. Patients’ quality of life, who received supplementary parental nutrition in home settings, is measured through a questionnaire survey with a sample of 28 respondents. The results were compared to the population norm, which represents the average population standards as well as the quality of life of hospitalized patients. Furthermore, this thesis compares the respondents’ quality of life through the form, at which the supplementary parental nutrition is provided; differentiated into two groups, patients using a mobile pump and other respondents. The aim of this thesis is to identify the economical, as well as other advantages related to patients’ quality of life during the transition of treatment to a home setting. It provides the hospital non-medical staff and management a deeper understanding of the explored issue. |
