Abstract: |

Abstract: |
The thesis examines consumers' attitudes to risk and their expectations in the housing process in the Covid-19 era. Reducing the risk of helping technological innovation is likely to play a key role in the hospitality sector after a pandemic. However, its impact on customer behavior in decision-making is unknown. The research focuses on technological innovations that reduce the number of guest interactions with employees and increase cleanliness. The aim was to examine the impact of the expected interaction and expected cleanliness on the perceived health risk and the intention to book the hotel. A study was performed using an online respondent. The study found that the low level of expected interactions through online technology leads to a low level of perceived health risk. The perceived health risk mediates the relationship between the expected interaction and the intention to book the hotel. In addition, the high level of expected purity through advanced cleaning technologies mitigates the effects of the expected interaction on the perceived health risk. Theoretical and practical consequences are discussed. |
