| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá komparací zdravotních systémů České republiky a Maďarska mezi lety 2010 a 2020. Cílem práce je zhodnocení efektivity těchto zdravotních systémů. Teoretická část práce představuje čtenáři teorii zdravotních systémů a charakterizuje zdravotní systémy České republiky a Maďarska. Také je popsán průběh koronavirové krize v roce 2020 v těchto zemích. Praktická část ukazuje, že české zdravotnictví je efektivnější než maďarské zdravotnictví. Poukázat lze například na to, že Češi vykazují nižší úmrtnost, vyšší střední délku života či větší nabídku lékařů. Výsledky zkoumání koronavirové krize částečně potvrzují hlavní výsledek práce. Přestože umřelo a nakazilo se více Čechů, v případě stejného množství případů na obyvatele by umřelo 1,7krát více Maďarů než Čechů. Výkonnost maďarského zdravotnictví se ale přes sledované období v určitých aspektech zlepšila. Například přežije o 2 děti na 1000 narozených jedinců více než před 10 lety. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with a comparison of health systems in the Czech Republic and Hungary between 2010 and 2020. The goal of the thesis is to determine effectiveness of these systems. The theoretical part introduces theory of health systems to readers and characterizes health systems of Czech Republic and Hungary. It also describes the course of coronavirus crisis in these countries in 2020. The empirical part shows that Czech healthcare is more effective than the Hungarian one. For example, it can be pointed out that Czechs have lower mortality rate, higher life expectancy and greater supply of physicians. The results of coronavirus research partially confirm main result of the thesis. Although more Czechs died and got infected in total, if both countries had the same number of coronavirus cases per capita, 1,7 times more Hungarians than Czechs would have died. However, the performance of Hungarian healthcare got better in some areas. For example, 2 more children per 1000 births survive nowadays than 10 years ago. |
