| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce zkoumá diskriminaci transgender osob na trhu práce v České republice. Cílem práce je prozkoumat aspekty diskriminace transgender osob a možný vliv změny pohlaví na jejich výši mzdy. Teoretická část představuje základní pojmy potřebné k lepšímu pochopení zmíněné problematiky. Práce uvádí odborné studie, které zkoumají současnou situaci transgender osob ve společnosti a na trhu práce. V praktické části jsou na základě dotazníkového šetření pomocí statistických metod analyzovány problémy transgender osob na trhu práce v ČR. Dotazník se soustředí zejména na zjištění možného diskriminačního chování vůči transgender osobám, konkrétně na obtížnost nalezení práce a udržení práce, ztrátu práce a jejich současnou situaci v pracovní oblasti. Celkový počet respondentů dotazníku činí 63 osob. Dle výsledků provedené analýzy lze předpokládat, že tranzice má vliv na výši mzdy osob. Především je možné pozorovat snížení mzdy u transgender žen. Dále byly identifikovány problémy vyskytující se na pracovišti, problémy s nalezením a udržením práce. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis studies the discrimination against transgender people in the labor market in the Czech republic. The aim of this thesis is to explore aspects of discrimination against transgender people and explore the possible impact of gender reassignment on their wages. The teoretical part presents the basic concepts which are needed to understand this problem. The thesis presents professional studies that examine the current situation of transgender people in society and on the labor market. In the practical part, based on survey, the problems of transgender people in the labor market in Czech republic are analyzed by statistical methods. The questionnaire focuses mainly on identifying possible discriminatory behavior towards transgender people, specifically on the difficulty of finding and keeping work, job loss and their current situation at work. The total number of respondents to the questionnaire is 63. According to the results of the accomplished analysis, the influence of the gender transitioning on the amount of wages can be assumed. Above all, it is possible to observe a reduction in wages of transgender women. Further, problems occurring in the workplace, problems with finding and keeping a job were identified. |
