| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tématem kriminality v České republice ve vztahu k sezónním vlivům za období 2009-2018. Hlavním přínosem práce je to, že tématu kriminality a její sezónnosti není v odborné literatuře, ani české, věnováno příliš pozornosti. Významným přínosem je zpracování dat o kriminalitě z Policie ČR, které nejsou ve svém původním stavu přizpůsobeny pro výzkum a jejich úprava je technicky a časově náročná. Díky možnosti nasdílení mé metody zpracování dat tato starost pro budoucí výzkum odpadá. Cílem práce je ověřit stanovené hypotézy týkající se sezónnosti majetkové kriminality, násilných trestných činů a vloupání. Pro majetkové trestné činy byl nalezen statisticky významný pozitivní sezónní vztah, který je podpořen teorií rutinní činnosti. Zbývající dvě hypotézy nebyly potvrzeny a nebyl u těchto trestných činů nalezen pozitivní sezónní vztah. Kromě ověření stanovených hypotéz byly nalezeny i zajímavé dílčí výsledky, ať už je to pozitivní sezónní vztah pro krádeže jízdních kol nebo neobvykle vysoká míra výskytu trestného činu zanedbání povinné výživy v březnovém měsíci či pozitivní sezónní vztah pro prosté krádeže. |

| Abstract: | This diploma thesis deals with the topic of crime in the Czech Republic in relation to seasonal effects for the period 2009-2018. The main benefit of the thesis is that the topic of crime and its seasonality is not paid much attention in the literature, nor in the Czech literature. A significant benefit of the thesis is the processing of data on crime from the Police of the Czech Republich, which in their original state are not adapted for research and their processing is technically demanding and time consuming. Thanks to the possibility of sharing my method of data processing, this concern is eliminated for future research. The aim of the thesis is to verify the established hypotheses concerning the seasonality of property crime, violent crimes and burglaries. A statistically significant positive seasonal relationship was found for property crimes, which is supported by the routine activity theory. The remaining two hypotheses were not confirmed and no positive seasonal relationship was found for these crimes. In addition to verifying the established hypothesis, interesting partial results were found, whether it is a positive seasonal relationship for bicycle theft or an unsually high incidence of the crime of neglect of compulsory maintenance in March or a positive seasonal relationship for simple theft. |
