| Abstract: | Téma postavení a financování neziskového sektoru je národohospodářsky významné kvůli rostoucím veřejným výdajům na neziskový sektor a nedostatku kvalitních dat o financování neziskového sektoru z veřejných zdrojů. České veřejné prostředky v letech 2008-2018 tvořily průměrně třetinu příjmů neziskových institucí, přičemž snahou veřejné sféry je ještě těsněji spolupracovat s neziskovým sektorem a navýšit jeho finanční podporu. Práce dochází k závěru, že mezi lety 2008–2018 došlo k posílení role neziskového sektoru v národní ekonomice. Přestože neziskový sektor nefiguruje jako významný zaměstnavatel, ani producent, tak zastává nezastupitelnou roli ve schopnosti zvyšovat participaci občanů na veřejném životě. Neziskové organizace jsou navíc schopny pružně poskytovat služby v krizových situacích, např. v období pandemie COVID-19. |

| Abstract: | The role of the non-profit sector and its public financing is a topic of significant importance due to the rising public spending towards the non-profit sector and the lack of comprehensive data on non-profit public financing. On average, almost a third of non-profit revenues in the years 2008-2018 were from Czech public funds and the aim of Czech representatives is to provide even more funding and increase their cooperation. The conclusion of this thesis is that in 2008-2018 the role of the non-profit sector in the national economy increased. Even though the non-profit sector is neither a significant employer nor a producer, it has its irreplaceable ability to increase citizen participation in public life. Furthermore, the organizations are flexible in providing services in crises, e.g., during the COVID-19 pandemic. |
