| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá zhodnocením významu skupiny malých a středních podniků v rakouské ekonomice. Cílem diplomové práce je identifikovat význam malých a středních podniků pro rakouskou ekonomiku z pohledu teoretického vymezení, vybraných ekonomických ukazatelů (jmenovitě podle přínosu k zaměstnanosti, obratu a hrubé přidané hodnotě) a stupně digitalizace. Metodou diplomové práce je analýza. Hlavní cíl práce byl doplněn o další dílčí cíle-jejich zodpovězením dochází k naplnění hlavního cíle práce. První dílčí cíl je zaměřen na identifikaci charakteristických znaků malých a středních podniků. Druhým dílčím cílem je vyhodnocení významu malých a středních podniků v rakouské ekonomice z hlediska vybraných ekonomických ukazatelů. Třetí dílčí cíl spočívá ve vyhodnocení, zda pandemie koronaviru akcelerovala digitalizaci v rakouských malých a středních podnicích. Závěr diplomové práce předkládá zhodnocení významu skupiny malých a středních podniků pro rakouskou ekonomiku. |

| Abstract: | The master thesis deals with the evaluation of the importance of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Austrian economy. The aim of the master thesis is to identify the importance of small and medium enterprises for the Austrian economy in terms of theoretical definition, selected economic indicators (namely according to the contribution to employment, turnover and gross value added) and the degree of digitalization. The method of the master thesis is analysis. The main goal of the thesis is fulfilled by elaboration of individual partial goals. The first partial goal is aimed at identifying the characteristics of small and medium-sized enterprises. The second partial goal is to evaluate the importance of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Austrian economy in terms of selected economic indicators. The third partial goal is to assess whether the coronavirus pandemic has accelerated digitalization in Austrian SMEs. In the conclusion, the importance of this group of enterprises for the Austrian economy is evaluated. |
