| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce popisuje vývoj výuky teorie pravděpodobnosti, matematické statistiky, pojistné matematiky a matematických metod v ekonomii na Přírodovědecké fakultě Univerzity Karlovy a Vysoké škole speciálních nauk v letech 1920 až 1952. Cílem je popsat organizační vývoj a postupný rozvoj studia jmenovaných předmětů na uvedených fakultách. Podklady byly čerpány z dosud publikovaných historických prací, studijních programů, publikací příslušných vysokoškolských učitelů a příslušných archiválií. První dvě kapitoly jsou věnovány postupně organizačnímu vývoji studia na obou fakultách. Nejprve je představen vývoj na Vysoké škole speciálních nauk od učebného běhu pro pojistnou techniku z~roku 1904 přes studium statisticko-pojistného inženýřství po obory matematicko-pojistného a ekonomicko-statistického inženýřství těsně před svým zánikem roku 1952. V druhé kapitole je popsáno studium pojistné matematiky a matematické statistiky a studium matematické statistiky, pojistné matematiky a ekonometriky na Přírodovědecké fakultě od jejího vzniku po reorganizaci roku 1952. Další část popisuje vybrané předměty vyučované během tehdejšího studia včetně stručných životopisů vybraných přednášejících z té doby. V poslední kapitole je pojednáno o česky psaných učebnicích týkajících se teorie pravděpodobnosti, matematické statistiky, pojistné matematiky a matematických metod v ekonomii. |

| Abstract: | This diploma thesis describes the development of teaching the probability theory, mathematical statistics, actuarial mathematics and mathematical methods in economics at~the~Faculty of Natural sciences at Charles University and the University of Special Sciences from 1920 to~1952. The data were obtained from historical papers, study programs, publications of~relevant university teachers and relevant archives. The first two chapters are devoted gradually to the organizational development of studies at both faculties. First, the~development at~the~University of Special Sciences from the course of actuarial technology from the 1904 through the~study of statistical-insurance engineering to the fields of mathematical-actuarial engineering and economic-statistical engineering just before its demise in 1952 is presented. The second chapter describes the study of actuarial mathematics and mathematical statistics and the study of mathematical statistics, actuarial mathematics and econometrics at the Faculty of Science since its inception after the reorganization in 1952. The next part describes selected courses taught during the study, including brief biographies of selected lecturers from that era. The last chapter deals with Czech textbooks on probability theory, mathematical statistics, actuarial mathematics and mathematical methods in economics. |
