| Abstract: | This Master’s thesis titled “The EU’s Fight against Human Trafficking” is dedicated to the persistent organized crime activity of trafficking in human beings which requires complex policies and actions to effectively address it. This thesis aims to provide an overview of the determinants and the current state of trafficking in human beings in the European Union and evaluate whether the EU legal and policy framework is consistent with the theoretical framework of the effective fight against this form of crime, set by selected indicators. |
