| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se věnuje aktuálnímu tématu, a to chudobě v zemích Evropské unie, včetně České republiky. Využito je statistického ukazatele z databáze Eurostat: míra rizika chudoby, odkud také byla čerpána potřebná data pro následné statistické analýzy. Práce zkoumá vývoj míry rizika chudoby jak v ČR, tak v zemích EU, a to z různých hledisek: na základě pohlaví, dle daného členského státu EU i podle geografické polohy v rámci Evropy. K vyhodnocení jsou využity různé grafy (histogramy, krabičkové a spojnicové grafy). Je zkoumáno, jak se liší míra rizika chudoby mezi muži a ženami, mezi ČR a EU i podle toho, kde člověk žije (rozdíl mezi severní, střední-východní, západní a jižní Evropou). K vyhodnocení jsou využity různé druhy statistických testů (Shapiro-Wilkův test, Kruskal-Wallisův test, t-testy). Získaná data z databáze Eurostat jsou podrobena statistickým analýzám v programu Excel a Statgraphics a následně interpretována. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis deals with a current topic, namely poverty in the countries of the European Union, including the Czech Republic. A statistical indicator from the Eurostat database is used: the at-risk-of-poverty rate, from which the necessary data for subsequent statistical analyzes were also drawn. The thesis examines the development of the at-risk-of-poverty rate both in the Czech Republic and in the EU countries, from various perspectives: on the basis of gender, according to the given EU member state and according to the geographical location within Europe. Various graphs (histograms, box and line graphs) are used for evaluation. It examines how the at-risk-of-poverty rate varies between men and women, between the Czech Republic and the EU, and according to where one lives (the difference between Northern, Middle Eastern, Western and Southern Europe). Different types of statistical tests are used for evaluation (Shapiro-Wilk test, Kruskal-Wallis test, t-tests). The data obtained from the Eurostat database are subjected to statistical analyses in Excel and Statgraphics and subsequently interpreted. |
