| Abstract: | Cílem této diplomové práce je na základě primárních a sekundárních dat provést analýzu obsazenosti vnitrostátních letů letecké společnosti Ural Airlines za rok 2019 a navrhnout doporučení přispívající ke zvýšení obsazenosti sedadel. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části. Teoretická část se věnuje nastínění hlavních aspektů vývoje letectví, klíčových pojmů v této oblasti a věnuje se stavu trhu letecké dopravy v roce 2019. V teoretické části je také rozebráno několik vědeckých článků věnujících se problematice obsazenosti sedadel v letadlech. Na základě těchto článků budou vybrány faktory pro další analýzu. V praktické části bude čtenář seznámen s leteckou společností Ural Airlines. Analyzováno bude několik destinací a následně bude provedena analýza portfolia zvolené letecké společnosti. Na konci budou vypracována doporučení pro zvýšení obsazenosti vnitrostátních letů |

| Abstract: | The purpose of this diploma thesis is to analyse the occupancy of domestic flights of Ural Airlines in 2019 on the basis of primary and secondary data and to propose recommendations that will contribute to the increase of seat occupancy. The work is divided into two parts. The theoretical part is devoted to outlining of the main aspects of aviation development, key concepts in this area and deals with the situation of the air transportation market in 2019. This part also examines several scientific articles on the aircraft occupancy. Based on these articles, the factors for further analysis will be selected. The practical part is devoted to one specific air company JSC "Ural Airlines". Several destinations will be analysed and thereafter a portfolio analysis will be performed. At the end a few recommendations how to increase the occupancy of domestic flights will be offered. |
