| Abstract: | Stárnutí populace je nevyhnutelným trendem v řadě vyspělých zemí. Podíl starších pracovníků na celkové populaci roste, a tudíž i důležitost jejich participace na trhu práce. Rovněž skutečnost přibývajících osob, které pobírají starobní důchod, zvyšuje zatížení produktivní složky obyvatelstva za účelem je zajistit. Cílem diplomové práce je zmapovat situaci osob starších 50 let na pracovním trhu v České republice a porovnat ji se stavem v Německu a Švédsku. Teoretická část práce definuje klíčové termíny charakterizující trh práce, pojem stárnutí a s ním spojené komplikace v pracovním životě nebo ageismus. Dále se zabývá nástroji, díky kterým lze dosáhnout intenzivnější participace starších pracovníků na trhu práce, jakožto nezaměstnaností ohrožené skupiny. Praktická část se zaobírá demografickým vývojem a predikcemi věkového rozložení obyvatelstva, porovnává důchodové systémy zmíněných zemí a věnuje se jejich konkrétním přístupům, které posilují pozici starších osob včetně těch nezaměstnaných. Konečně analyzuje řadu ukazatelů pracovního trhu se zaměřením na osoby starší 50 let v České republice a porovnává je s poměry v Německu a Švédsku včetně jejich vývoje mezi lety 2009-2019. Dochází k závěru, že starší osoby si mezi komparovanými zeměmi vedou lépe v Německu a Švédsku, nicméně v porovnání s EU vykazuje Česká republika v této oblasti dobré postavení. |

| Abstract: | The continuous demographic ageing is an inevitable trend in many developed countries. The proportion of older workers in the total population is increasing and so is their importance in the labor market. Also, the fact that more people are receiving old-age pensions is causing an increasing burden on the economically active population. The aim of this thesis is to map the situation of people over 50 years of age on the labor market of the Czech Republic and to compare it with situation of Germany and Sweden. The theoretical part defines the key terms characterizing the labor market, the concept of ageing and the associated complications in working life, or ageism. Next it discusses the instruments that can be used to achieve more intensive participation of older workers as they tend to be strongly affected by unemployment. The practical part deals with the demographic development and age distribution forecasts, compares the pension systems and looks focuses on policies supporting the elderly, even the unemployed ones. Finally, it analyses several selected indicators with a focus on workers older than 50 years in Czech Republic, Germany and Sweden, including their development in the period of 2009-2019. The analysis proves that the position of workers in Germany and Sweden is better, however the Czech Republic performs well in this area compared to the EU. |
