| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce přináší komplexní pohled na fenomén uměleckých rezidencí pro scénická umění v mezinárodním i českém kontextu. Obor uměleckých rezidencí se dynamicky rozvíjí a posiluje svůj význam. Rezidenční pobyty umělců a kulturních profesionálů jsou nástrojem mobility a mezinárodní spolupráce, zasazují se o rozvoj kreativity a živého umění, přispívají k sociální změně i regeneraci lokalit a přináší potenciál ekonomického rozvoje. Práce mapuje současnou situaci oboru v České republice, analyzuje finanční nástroje podpory a skrze případovou studii předkládá konkrétní příklady dobré praxe uměleckých rezidencí. Identifikuje jejich přínosy a pozitivní externality, ale i bariéry v rozvoji oboru a doporučuje kroky ke zlepšení. |

| Abstract: | The Master´s Thesis provides a comprehensive view of the Artist-in-Residence phenomenon. It focuses on the Artists’ residencies for the Performing Arts in the international and Czech context. The field of Artists’ residencies has been developing dynamically and strengthening its importance. The Artists’ residencies are one of the mobility scheme for artists and cultural professionals providing them to cooperate internationaly. They contribute to the development of creativity and culutral field, to social change and the regeneration of areas and they can contribute to economic development as well. The Thesis maps the current situation of the topic in the Czech Republic and analyzes the financial instruments of support. In a Case Study it shows specific examples of good practices of the Artists’ residencies in Czechia. It identifies their benefits and positive externalities as well as barriers to the development and it gives some recommendations for improvements. |
