| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se věnuje inovační výkonnosti ČR mezi roky 2014-2021 a její komparaci s Německem. K porovnání byly analyzovány výsledky inovačních kompozitních indexů European Innovation Scoreboard a Global Innovation Index. Cílem práce je prostřednictvím analýzy a interpretace výsledků výše zmíněných indexů odhalit silné a slabé stránky inovačního systému ČR a zasadit je do kontextu porovnáním se silnější ekonomikou. Zároveň je zkoumáno, zda ČR konverguje ve sledovaných letech výkonností k Německu. Předmětem zájmu jsou ukazatele inovační výkonnosti a jejich posouzení s přihlédnutím k použité metodologii a zahrnutím kritické analýzy této metodologie. Teoretická část je věnována definici pojmů a teoretickému základu kompozitních indexů a praktická část analýze a vyhodnocení zkoumaných fenoménů. ČR byla v celém období méně výkonná než Německo, a to zejména v EIS. V komparaci s Evropou pak byla podprůměrně výkonná. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis deals with the innovation performance of the Czech Republic between the years 2014-2021 and its comparison with Germany. For the sake of comparison, there were analyzed results of innovative composite indexes – European Innovation Scoreboard and Global Innovation Index. The main objective of the thesis is to analyze and interpret the results of the indexes mentioned above, to discover the strengths and weaknesses of an innovation system of the Czech Republic, and to put it into the context with a stronger economy. Also, there is research if the performance of the Czech republic converts with that of Germany in observed years. The subject of matter is also the indicators of innovative performance and their assessment concerning the methodology used and inclusion of critical analysis of this methodology. The theoretical part is dedicated to the definition of terms and theoretical base of composite indexes and the practical part to analysis and assessment of examined phenomenons. The Czech Republic had lower performance than Germany the whole time, especially in EIS. In comparison with European Union, it was below-average performing. |
