| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá výzkumem dopadů státních zásahů, především ve formě dotací a subvencí, na vývoj zemědělsko-potravinářského komplexu v České republice od roku 1989 do roku 2020. Cílem této práce je přinést komplexní přehled o státních zásazích a jejich následného vlivu na živočišnou a rostlinnou produkci se zvláštním zřetelem na vývoj vybraných komodit. Teoretická část je zaměřená na charakteristiku pojmů vztahující se k zemědělské produkci, představuje vybrané teorie jako je teorie státních zásahů, teorie vládního selhání, teorie dobývání renty, teorie zájmových skupin, morální hazard či teorie asymetrické informace. Dále se teoretická část věnuje literární rešerši vztahující se k dané problematice, která slouží jako základna pro praktickou část. Praktická část obsahuje analýzu výchozího stavu zemědělsko-potravinářského komplexu v roce 1989, dále výzkum vývoje tohoto komplexu od roku 1990 do roku 2020, analýzu státních zásahů a jejich vliv na vývoj vybraných včetně soběstačnosti a vybraných makroekonomických ukazatelů. Výzkumem vývoje zemědělsko-potravinářského sektoru se autorka snaží o identifikaci negativních jevů a dopadů státních zásahů, které značně deformují trhy. V České republice výrazně poklesl podíl zemědělské půdy i osevních ploch a taktéž se snižuje živočišná produkce, zatímco objem finančních prostředků směřovaných českým zemědělcům výrazně roste. ČR se tak stala v posledních letech nesoběstačná v produkci některých komodit jako je například vepřové maso či brambory. |

| Abstract: | The diploma thesis deals with the research of the effects of state interventions, especially in the form of subsidies, on the development of the agri-food complex in the Czech Republic from 1989 to 2020. The aim of this thesis is to provide a comprehensive overview of production with special regard to the development of selected commodities. The theoretical part is focused on the characteristics of concepts related to agricultural production, presents selected theories such as the theory of state intervention, the theory of government failure, the theory of annuity, the theory of interest groups, moral hazard or the theory of asymmetric information. Furthermore, the theoretical part is devoted to literary research related to the issue, which serves as a basis for the practical part. The practical part contains an analysis of the initial state of the agri-food complex in 1989, research on the development of this complex from 1990 to 2020, analysis of state interventions and their impact on the development of selected self-sufficiency and selected macroeconomic indicators. By researching the development of the agri-food sector, the author seeks to identify the negative phenomena and impacts of state intervention, which significantly distort the markets. In the Czech Republic, the share of agricultural land and sown areas has decreased significantly, and livestock production is also declining, while the volume of funds directed to Czech farmers is growing significantly. In recent years, the Czech Republic has thus become unsatisfactory in the production of certain commodities such as pork or potatoes. |
